Ireland’s original Country music festival returned to the Ecclesville Centre with a bang on Saturday 20th October. A sell out event which saw many surprises including the first ever Jamboree marriage proposal live on stage. The happy couple got engaged in front of a packed audience in the Ecclesville Centre while headline Country music star, Mike Denver, serenaded the newly engaged couple.
That wasn’t the only thing that got the full house jumping, with fantastic music from the princess of Country, Lisa McHugh and making his long awaited return to the Jamboree stage, Ritchie Remo.
Making their Jamboree Oktoberfest debut was Paul Kelly and the sensational Ward Sisters who also acted as the Jamboree’s MC.
From the success of Jamboree Oktoberfest, the focus now turns to the first Jamboree in the Park taking place in Ennis, Co.Clare.
Three of the biggest names in Country music will be performing in the Ennis Showground’s on Saturday 10th November, Derek Ryan, Lisa McHugh and Mike Denver.
